Education - Presentations

We supply speakers to schools, civic organizations, and other interested groups. Speakers discuss various animal-related issues with emphasis on caring for pets responsibly and lovingly.

In most cases a shelter animal accompanies the speaker, giving audiences a chance to see firsthand the remarkable animals available for adoption from the IHS shelter.

Pets Uplifting People (PUP)

Volunteers regularly take shelter animals to visit residence facilities, senior citizen centers, and retirement homes throughout Ada County.

Research shows that people benefit psychologically from interacting with animals. And the animals benefit, too!
