Adopt a Pet - Adoption Fees

Speaking as an Idaho Humane Society volunteer, I want to let you know that the Idaho Humane Society is completely non-profit. They do everything they can to keep the fees low and they don't even make enough money from fees to pay for housing and caring for the animals. Adoption fees include vaccinations, worming, spaying or neutering, a pet food sample, coupons and a booklet on pet care. It is a great value and your fees are going to a worthy cause. ~ David Burr, IHS Volunteer

This is a service that we gladly provide for the community but funding is necessary to defray the expenses that incur when we take care of your pets. This service includes vaccination, spaying or neutering, medical care if necessary, food and shelter for an indeterminate amount of time, grooming if necessary and adoption promotion and services.
